Default Good idea to do cardio right after lifting?

Hey everyone,

There are days when I can't get my cardio on in the morning and my questions is it a good idea to do cardio right after lifting and if so how long with what kind of intensity?
My goal right now is to start cutting since I have gained quite a bit of fat bulking and the freaking holidays.

Thanks everyone,

DT

Me personally, I do cardio in the A.M. just to get the core amped up and for me it seems to burn fat at a higher pace, this is just me now. U will definitely benefit either way U go, this is what I've found that fits me. Just mess around with it and tailor it to Ur specific needs and goals. As far as intensity and duration, I go 45 mins with 5 mins worth of cooling down with high intensity! Intensity depends on each person and what they can handle, so it's kinda hard to say, if U get my drift?

I agree, me personally, I prefer morning cardio. I have seen better results, that's just me though, also diet and recovery are very important when it comes down to the bottom line!

For me, AM cardio took alot of weight off, including muscle. I cant do AM cardio in a fasted state. What has worked best for me was 30 to 45 min of cardio after the weights and low intensity. A brisk walk really, enough to sweat but not be out of breath. Burns the fat right off of me and saves the muscle.

From what I've read, and heard, etc. AM cardio is best and on an empty stomach. Me I HAVE to eat when I get up. Hell, I get up during the night just to eat.LOL Esp when I work nights,I'll get up during the day for lunch,we have a cook at work. So I dont want to be missing any of that good food. Esp while it's winter

Actually first thing in the AM and after weight training are both good times to do cardio....After weight training your ATP and glycogen should be so depleted that the only energy source for cardio would be stored fat deposits...
