I am in a state of getting back into proper bodybuilding. My diet seems to be working great. My goal is not to bulk but to bring down my BF %.
I played with different types of nutrition plans,. but found what is working for myself.
I do not like oatmeal, after years of oatmeal everyday, from eating it to drinking it, It makes me sick. So I have now substituted it with whole grain wheat for the morning.
Here is my current diet. So far on this diet, I have gained muscular size while losing fat. Muscle memory I suppose for the most part.
Meal 1 : Whole wheat cereal with milk and 120z chocolate milk with 2 scoops of Gaspari Myofusion ( I use the choc milk for insulin spike )
meal 2: 8 - 9 oz of lean red meat with half cup cooked pasta and 1 cup vegetables.
meal 3 : same as #2
meal 4 : Pork chops 10oz with half cup pasta or rice and 1 cup vegetables.
meal 4 : 1 can of tuna in water with 1 slice of whole grain bread
meal 5 : Half cup cottage cheese with whole grain crackers
meal 6 : 30 minutes before bed , 2 scoops of Myofusion.
I add in a few Myoplex RTD's in between meals. On days were I work, I replace 2 meals with a MET-RX MRP bar, as those are on my 15 minute breaks.
This seems to be working pretty good for me. I do not really ever measure anything, I go by what I see in pics and in the mirror.
