Both for me.
I will eat a meal an hour before working out, along with any workout supps I'm taking, and a coffee 30 mins before. I then eat a snack immediately after, energy bar and a banana, and eat another meal afterwards. Why... because the meal before gives me good energy throughout my workout and the meal after leaves me feeling recharged. Always good meals, high carbs, high protein, reasonably low fat before, medium carbs, high protein, reasonably low fat after. .

Depends on cutting or not, but usually both. Only post when cutting.

I get done eating an hour before working out. AAK and coffee or preworkout product with caffiene half our before.
Shake, now consisting of a couple scoops of milk protien isolate and one scoop of dried eggwhite in 16 ounce nonfat milk, as I pack my gym stuff up to go. Creatine/dextrose drink, now with 3 grams luecine. 12 ounce or so chicken breast, some oatmeal 40 or so minutes after the gym. |
