Nothing better then when you change the rules of the game in the middle of the season which is what Nascar usually does.
They are instituting double file restarts so the lap cars are not in the way any longer. This is a huge change and will change the outcome of many races since lap traffic has played a role in cars not being able to catch the leader.
It also stops a guy who is 1 lap down from racing for his lap back and can only get it if he is the first car a lap down and a caution comes out.
It will make for more excitement but the other way did work for the last 50+ years.

Because they don't want you racing back to the caution flag for "safety reasons" I liked it back in the day when if you were 1 lap down you could get back on the lead lap when a caution came out if you were close enough to the leader and he let you get it back.

Damn never heard of them doing that before, definately does change alot of things.
