Default help regarding protein shake and liver enzymes

alright guys once again happy to be back with you all ...

now with raised liver enzymes can protein supplementation afffect this or not ??


i asked on a uk forum but it is full of idiots stuck up themselves arrrg bad day with it all lol soo i ask u for ur adivce thanks

It is more likely to be caused by weight, AAS use, or weight loss pills. Can you post up your results? And what kind of test was it?

Sorry High liver enzymes can also be a result of wasted muscle / muscle trauma.

i dont use anything no aas etc .... doctor said to try not to drink as i had raised liver enzymes and now have a fattyish liver .so lose some fat lol soo just wondered bout supplement use with protein

i did use to yeah but aint had a drop since the doctor told me not too .... he said ti will repair ..but i dont want to affect it anymore than i already have done ....wich is why im trying to make sure there is nothing in protein supps that might do so ..

I had a liver test done a few yrs ago...due to my alcoholism it was three x's the norm....doc said I would have sirosis (sp) if I didnt stop.....wake up call

CQ10 will help, and stay away from the drinking. When a doc says fatty liver he is also looking at the possibility of you having the start of cirrhosis or hep c.

cheers people .... i am keeping away from drink as i say its not REALLY bad just a lil raised regardless of this i have quit drinking anyway .... so u recon i can continue with the protein shakes

When i had high enzymes I stopped everything for a month then had more blood work down. I took fish oil, cq10, Oats, and tons of fiber and let my body work its self out. I went back and have more blood work done and all was well. Then went back to hight protean for two months and had more blood work done and it showed no increase.

I say just stick with one shake a day, and a good diet then have it rechecked.
