wks 1-4 I start cutting out simple carbs and cardio 3 times a week wks 5-8 I start rotaing carbs High,med,low bump up cardio to 5days Start posing practice and picking out song for nite routine. I still lift heavy and stay in the 6-8 rep range. I have a cheat meal once a week usally sunday. wks 9-12 Still rotating carbs high, med, med, low cardio is still 5 days but I add 10 minutes to it. Still lifting heavy wks 13-15 rotating carbs high,med,low,low. cardio is 5 times a wk but 3 of those days are 2 twice a day I will add another day if needed Usally I am doing more isolation work at medium weight. wk 16 first 3 and half days just protein with pleny of water. cardio, light workouts and long posing sessions. The rest of the week carb loading, cardio if needed, but usally not. Long posing sessions, cutting water out slowly. Start apply tan. This is just a General summary with lots of tweaks not added |

I am prepping for my first competion and everyone is right when they say it is a lot harder than I thought. Sticking to my diet, doing cardio (which I hate), working out even when you are dead tired. It is a lot of work and DISCIPLINE. But when I look in the mirror and see the definition and cuts coming out, it is ENERGIZING!!
