It all depends, everyone is different and what works for one won't necessarily work for the other.
I used to do 3 for bis, 2 for tris, 3 for back, 2 or 3 for shoulders, 2 for legs but now that pete makes a routine for me, it's all mixed up. |

I usually hit around 3 for each muscle group.

I always do 3 different exercises for legs and back.
Others I just do two; biceps, triceps, traps, delts. Chest I always do BP and DP and see how I feel to add a third exercise. I do alot of lying dumdbell pull overs,it's a multi purpose exercise and hits the back chest and triceps.... |

It depends on the day, group and all that. I mean i like to change it up a lot. Its easier, and keeps me guessing. On average though, i do about 12-20 sets total for larger muscle groups (quads, chest, shoulders, back)...Smaller groups, again depends. Some days i'll do nothing but super-setting or drop sets so my sets are different. Regular days, sometimes i'll do 12 sets total...or 8...depends

I think as long as you hit the muscle from all angles and exhaust it you should be fine. The whole point is to tear down and rebuild, so you may focus on a certain area of that muscle with each workout, to keep it balanced and growing.
But like with all training your workout should revolve around what you are trying to achieve with your training. Stay Strong~~!!! IPL

I been doing cardio for a few months, but I been skipping it a lot. I walked on a treadmill. To me my legs have gotten smaller. My waist did to but I hold fat on my lower abs and luv handles. I'm not going for the cut or ripped look. I like mass, I eat clean, but I eat a lot. I could use a flatter mid section. Thinking to switch my cardio to jump rope and punching bag. It would prob be more effective for what I want...and a heck of a lot more fun.
What about 1 BP per day? Any of you do that? Do you just keep the rotation going? Right now the only rest days I take is when I get in from work. I work 14 days on and 14 days off. I get in on friday and usually skip that day, sometimes the whole weekend. But sometimes I'll go then also. Just depends on how I feel, and if I had to work the night shift. It takes me a day or to to get myself back to normal.

Usually 3 - 5 excersises at the most. Does not matter which body parts I am working. Most excersises are done in conjuntion with another.

Something like this??
I've never done 1BP per day before. I've always done 2. Except for leg day. Day 1-chest 2-shoulders 3-back 4-arms 5-legs Abs----whenever LOL. Sometimes I do everyday, spme times 3 times a week. As long as they are strong I'm cool with that. After the 5th day. should I go right back into the start? It seems to me like 4 days after I work chest it would def be time to hit it again. And like I said,I have those skip days when I get in from work. That would prob be enuff rest...right?

Thats kinda like the split I use, a 5 day split. I take 2 days off and repeat though, m-f train and sat and sun off.
Day 1. Chest, Calves Day 2. Back, Traps Day 3. Legs/w Calves Day 4. Shoulders, Forearms Day 5. Bi`s, Tri`s, Calves Weekends off unless I miss a day during the week then one of those days are a makeup day. I do abs in the summer more and not so much in the winter during bulking. I would do them with cardio 3 days a week opposite calves in the summer cut. DGAF
