circuit training
I am finally manager get a friend of mine to join the gym. his there now 10days i have given him a nice cardio routine to get into it. as been honest his extremly overweight and unfit!!!!!
now i think its time fot him to do some circuit training, but its something i have never done or know much above to be honest.
bar 45sec rest between sets an all over body work out in each session.
before i had read super set i.e. pec deck 1x15 then straight to lat pulldown 1x15 and rest 1min and repeat.
i'd like him get a cardio out, out of this too. like to start him first off on the machines.
machines in my sh*t gym:
pec deck,
lat pulldown,
shoulder press,
hyper ext,
abs machine,
bicep curl,
leg ext,
leg curl seated,
leg press,
muilt gym for triceps, pully, curls
so any ideas or routine would be great. his stats 32yrs old, 6ft 1in and 126kg
his a smoker and likes his few beers!! and enjoys the good food in life always eating out etc. loves his cheese i got him already give the cheese the bullet at night time. been honest his be great so far train 8 days of out the 10 only missed 2 over his dad was sick. his seeing the gains already, his fitness and edurance so he is buzzing and his mind is set to try lost 2stone in 2months and Yes this can be done.
i have him now outisde of his warm up doing:
15 mins HIIT on the bike,
15 mins cross trainer.
30mins walking on thread mill at 6.5% incline and at 6.5km
first days lads he could only do 4mins on cross trainer and 7mins on bike now he loves the HIIT as he see results in his fitness. i know my mate give uo saying he get a heart attack but i eased him into it slowly. even did the HIIT 20sec on 40sec rest!
i hope by him seeing improvements in fintess he cut out the fags he smoke about 15 a day.
his put on 4stone in 1 yr due to really work and bad eating and having 2 kids.
